Linda Go has been singing all her life. She was first recognized as an intuitive sound healer by Eliot Cowan, author and educator of Plant Spirit Medicine. Linda's unique healing gifts were the catalyst for her initiation as a shaman in the Nauha tradition of curanderism by Don Lucio de Campo in 2000. That same year, while fasting in preparation for a pilgrimage, she received an audial transmission of 7 sounds that correlated energetically to the 7 chakras. Since then, Linda has taught and shared these sounds with hundreds of people at healing camps and Sounds of the Chakra workshops throughout the U.S.
In her sound healing practice with partner, Billy Zanski, she incorporates her clairaudient and intuitive healing abilities with the traditional healing tools of the curandera.
Billy Zanski owns Skinny Beats Drum Shop, 4 Eagle Street, in historic downtown Asheville, NC. He is a natural born teacher and has been facilitating drum circles and teaching West African drumming since 1998.
After completing his degree in Communications from University of Wisconsin, Billy studied djembe with Bolokada Conde in Guinea, West Africa. He continues his friendship with Bolo to this day, performing with him around the U.S. Since meeting Linda in 2005, they've been working together on teaching and inspiring others on how to use voice and drum for personal health, well-being and transformation.

Welcome to our shop www.skinnybeatsdrums.com with the largest selection of hand carved West African djembes in the Southeast. We hold West African drum classes for beginners-intermediates on Wednesday from 6pm-7pm and Sundays, 1-2pm and 3-4pm. All levels welcome to attend class anytime. Drums available.
